Flat Base Hollow Point

The Flat Base Hollow Point projectiles were designed strictly with the discriminating hunter in mind that wants a very accurate, higher than standard BC projectile that flies like a dart with exceptional terminal effects. They are of a flat base design with either a Secant Ogive or Tangent Ogive made to chamber in standard production rifles. Like other flat base projectiles they are easy to tune and stabilise quickly. Unlike other flat base projectiles, the Secant Ogive gives them a flatter trajectory making targets easier to hit. Even the Tangent Ogive styles have a better BC than most swaged flat base projectiles on the market today.

Note: Because these projectiles are solid copper, they are considerably longer than lead core projectiles of the same weight. As such, they will likely require a faster twist than the same weight lead core projectile. Please check the Technical Data Sheet to ensure that the projectiles you are interested in are compatible with your rifle's barrel twist rate.
