Maker Bullets

Meplat Firearm Services has imported projectiles for subsonic use over the years and has been importing selected projectiles from Maker Bullets specifically for the application of hunting using subsonic cartridges. While subsonic contridges have been around for a long time, for many years there were very few projectiles that were designed to function properly on game at subsonic velocities.

Maker REX Subsonic Projectiles

The Maker REX bullets are precision CNC machined, lead free, solid copper expanding projectiles. REX projectiles expand to nearly 3 times the original diameter, imparting all their energy into the target.. They have three petals which open like a banana peel but remain attached to the shank, retaining nearly 100% of its original weight. Each REX projectile has been engineered to perform in a given velocity range to provide unparalleled performance across a wide variety of calibers and firearms.

While Maker Bullets produce a full range of projectiles, MFS only import a few lines, being those of the greatest demand. These are:

.458 cal 500grn REX
